Brock Bowers - Yes he's already going round 2 but.... this could be a special season for the top target in an offense that will throw the ball with great frequency with minimal competition from wide receivers. The thesis is simple - a supremely talented tight end who will catch over 100 passes and be the focal point of an offense that has an upgrade in QB in Mendoza can win you your league. There's like 4 other guys at the TE position that can come anywhere close to Bowers and none of them have Bowers skill set of complete lack of competition for targets on a pass heavy bad team. If he stays healthy he's a lock for one of the greatest tight end seasons of all time.
Devon Achane - lots of FUD around the Dolphins offense and rightfully so but Achane is such a god damn baller it just doesn't matter IMO. Bad QB play? Okay? And? Much like Bowers, Achane is the man in an offense with almost zero competition for touches. More on that later. How many other RBs can break a 80 yard TD run while also catching 80 passes? He's going too low IMO even with the atrocious run out around him.
Luther Burden - he flashed at the end of last year and now he finds himself in a situation with no DJ Moore and and overrated Odunze as his only competition for targets at the WR spot. Yes Colston Loveland is great but he's still a TE and Burden profiles as the new Amon Ra St. Brown. High risk, high reward here. I'm all in on a target monster with an emerging QB.
Jadarian Price - Oh my GOD how is Price slipping so low in drafts. Mark my words he could even out perform Jeremiah Love by the end of the year if things go according to Hoyle. You're getting a clear cut RB1 on the team that won the Super Bowl with minimal competition for targets. The actual talent isn't amazing on Price IMO but he slides into a prime landing spot with great draft capital and he's going way too late. He's a steal if you draft WR early and need quality RBs in the later rounds.
AJ Brown - no clue what this looks like in a few months but he's the top WR on a team that just made the Super Bowl with the arrow pointing up. High risk, high reward here. The coaching connection with Vrabel is also there from their time in Tennessee together.
Greg Dulcich - another Dolphin? Yes! Dulcich is quietly penciled in as the top target in a shitty Dolphins offense that has basically zero WRs as competition. He's not an amazing talent but as a starting TE going basically undrafted there's some insane upside here.
Josh Down - Michael Pittman is gone in Indy and I don't buy Alec Pierce as a true number 1 WR. Undervalued.
Ryan Flournoy - going basically undrafted, this is a sleeper pick but if Pickens or Lamb gets hurt my God this guy is gonna ball out hard.
