I went out to my old Alma Mater at Texas Tech University over the weekend.  Lubbock is a hell of a place and I ran into an old buddy of mine.  He was in several marketing classes with me and had the bright idea to start PTI Roofing Company in Lubbock.  With as much wind as Lubbock and west Texas generates, his idea to provide quality roof repair and full service replacement was a no-brainer.  What I consider normal wind conditions have been significantly altered after living in Lubbock.  Here where it comes to roof repair in Dallas, I've never seen anything nearly as bad as the punishing winds that wrecked havoc and literally destroyed buildings and roofs.  No joke, I saw it happen.  So say I suffered from ennui towards wind would be an understatement.  Even when my home in Southlake needed roof repair, it wasn't as crazy, not by a long shot.

I'm happy my buddy is doing well and I would highly recommend thinking outside the box while still thinking logically.  If you see an opportunity in your city, especially playing off weather conditions, run with it.  Why not?
